Interior Designer and Art Teacher

Nuria Hall

Having my own art studio has always been my dream. A place where I could explore creativity under my own terms. Art has always been part of my identity, and several years ago, that became a reality.

I have always been drawn to sharing art with others and passionate about helping them discover the joys of creativity. For most of my adult life I have taught art classes in some form or the other. I have enjoyed helping others develop their own creative talents through drawing, painting and crafting. For me the journey of expressing imagination into creativity has been so fulfilling.  It is not about creating a masterpiece, it is about doing what makes me happy, what makes my soul sing.

I want to share that with others. Sometimes the journey to self-expression through art can be intimidating because we have been taught that in order to be creative you have to be good at it. I don’t adhere to that viewpoint.  I believe that within each and every person there is a seed of creativity waiting to be nurtured. Whether you are 7 or 70 it is never too late to embark on the adventure of discovering your own creative roots and finding your own artistic voice. For me some of the most rewarding moments have been seeing the smile on a child’s face when they have created something of their own and getting excited about it, or the laughter that comes from a group of seniors finding community in creativity, or the sense of accomplishment that is evident when a little one proudly shows their parent the art work they created. That is why I do this, to see others flourish and find their own creative roots.

I hope that my art space, Creative Roots Art Studio, will be that safe and welcoming space where we can create just for fun, and find community while doing so.

My two daughters have done several fun art projects with Nuria over the years. They love the creative projects she plans for them! She has taught them different techniques, and they always have so much fun. We highly recommend her classes!! My daughters and their friends are so excited she is going to start offering camps and classes!

Not very long ago, I participated in one of Nuria Hall's painting events and I have to say, it was a lot of fun! Nuria's friendly vibe made me feel right at home. She's great at creating a laid-back atmosphere that really encourages you to get creative.

Nuria's teaching style is easy to follow. Her demos are clear, and she’s all about helping you find your own style while giving helpful feedback along the way.

Everyone at the event was supportive, and there was lots of laughter. Nuria encouraged us to share ideas and cheer each other on, making it a really enjoyable place to be.

Overall, I can’t recommend Nuria Hall's art class enough! If you’re looking to explore your artistic side, this is definitely the place to be. It’s not just a class; it’s a fun, inspiring experience with a truly passionate teacher. Go check it out!

Nuria’s instructed painting experience is so much fun!
By no means do I consider myself an artist, but Nuria’s instruction and expertise helped me create a scene that was beautiful and intentional. More importantly, I got to experience creating something with people I felt close to. We all walked through the instruction together and painted our own scenes. After we finished, we got to spend time talking about how, even though we were painting the same thing, we all had our unique takes. It was so good for our team to help us see how our individual strengths made us a great team when we focus on the same effort. I will never forget the experience, and I hold the memory with much joy.
